Siege 7s will take place on the 27th July 2024 at Wanstead RFC! WRFC is an up and coming rugby club based in East London and their 1st XV play their rugby in London 2 North East. They also regularly get a 2nd & 3rd XV out who play their rugby in the Essex merit leagues.
The home ground of WRFC, Centenary Field, has recently undergone development and now The Herons have a brand new multimillion pound facility to call their home. There are now 7 full size pitches at Centenary Field of which 2 are fully floodlit and of a premier grade. As part of the developments a new spectators balcony & pitch side beer garden was opened and will be in full flow for Siege 7s!
Wanstead RFC has a thriving youth section and play host to hundreds of parents and children every sunday, with teams ranging from Little Herons which starts at age 2 to the Colts which is U18s.
WRFC is also hub for the local community as they regularly host events that brings the community together such as club lunches and charity days.
